Join us at our beginner friendly competition to help introduce new dancers to competitive ballroom dancing. We will be having events in Newcomer, Intermediate/Advanced and Veteran/Rookie categories. There are no entry fees.

The Newcomer category is for couples who have very little competitive dance experience. We welcome couples who have substantial competitive dance experience and who would like to demonstrate competitive dancing to beginners to enter in the Intermediate/Advanced category.

It is SBDT tradition to welcome the new team members and mingle with the old at the start the school year over food and dance.
Dress code: It will be really nice if everyone dresses up. But if you don’t that is OK too. We want you there to party with us, whether it be in jeans or pants, dress or a top.
